________________________________

It had been a whole year of so later, and by the end of it, I was devoid of both a place of my own to live, and the freedom to roam the city without accidentally running into Chris.
The past year had involved trouble with the law, losing my job and apartment yet again, having to move back home with my parents again, losing my bestie in a "fight over a girl", and the girl too, getting revenge-burgled of my mobile studio laptop, being involved in a car chase, and getting a black eye which caused lights to flicker in my peripheral vision for the next 2 months.
As always, the pendulum eventually stopped swinging away from bad luck, and more toward hopefulness.

I eventually found a lair atop one side of Red Mountain and took up residence there at The Aristocrat.

I immediately began to get back into not only music production, but because of this new concept, MySpace, the thought of assisting the female musicians, artists, models, and producers of the city.

That's when ANOM!LE GL was developed, and though short-lived, it inspired many of us to diversify our own dossier of creative skillsets.

THE INGENUE, JACKIE BROWN
Shortly before getting my latest apartment, I ran into one of the Southside kids that went to the nearby high school, and was now a college-ager looking to make her way in the city on her own.

She since has dug both her heels and nails into the city deep, as a talented media artist, dancer, model, and socialite.

RECONCILIATIONS
I was typing away on MySpace one day, looking for new co-creators to work with for the next year, and got a random message from Chris.

I was taken aback, having spent the past year as nemeses, and was expecting him to be as "on one" as he's been every time he's encountered me in the city.

To my surprise, he wanted to meet up and squash things. After ridding myself of the notion that this was perhaps a setup, I agreed to meet with him, to talk.

It was Summertime, and as we talked face to face for the first time in over a year, he recalled when I brought him a giftwrapped six-pack of his favorite beer and smokes, Newcastle, and a pack of Marlboro Extra Lights that past Christmas Day.

I remembered expecting him to just slam the door in my face, which he did, as a mutual friend of ours, Sarah, was hanging out with him that day, as she spotted me at a door, from a couch in the distance.

I asked what he did with the gift I ended up leaving at his door, and he admitted to eventually grabbing and enjoying them with Sarah, who spoke up for our reconciliation that day.

Chris went on to admit that it had been some time since he'd actually been angry, and was just missing his homie at that point.

We both profusely apologized to each other about our dual-betrayal, and sought never to overstep boundaries between us ever again.

He then went on to tell me that he'd been making beats with the mobile studio laptop he stole from me, and that he wanted me to hear them.

With no ill-will harboured, I did, to which afterward, we decided that it was time to get back to work, creating music again together; this time, in Hip-Hop.
